We will cover four main areas in the course:
Creating a family “mission and vision” that will foster family unity in the face of daily life pressures, difficult family history and/or other challenging situations in a way that will support stability and emotional connectedness.
Developing a strong relationship between the parents allows optimal support for the children, and a renewed a sense of calm, better mental health, and happiness for the long term. Separated parents will learn to improve communication and cooperation and maintain a consistent upbringing for their children.
Concrete strategies to support the development of children’s self esteem and identity, as well as their empathy and problem-solving skills. This will foster a strong resilience in children’s emotional stability, help build character, and provide them with tools to deal with bullying.
Creating clear limitations for unhealthy habits that may affect the family members in negative ways, like overuse of screen time, unhealthy eating habits, drugs and alcohol, etc. There will also be a strong focus on creating balance between pressures from work, school, technology, the media, peers and society with family values and time.
